From Paris with love
This weekend I went to Portobello Market where I stumbled across Junk Jewels. They make pretty much any charm you want into a necklace or bracelet in about 5 minutes and the prices are reasonable. I got a bracelet (because I have so many necklaces and hardly ever wear bracelets so I thought this ought to change) with the Eiffel Tower on and a cute little gold postcard. You cant really see it here, because my flash has obliterated everything, but the postcard says ‘I love you’ on it. They have a website which you can see here, but if you are in the London area I would recommend going down to Portobello, because I saw lots of cute charms that aren’t on the website and you can get something really unique. Next time I go I think I will get myself a nice necklace. I thought the French theme was pretty apt seeing as I study the language and I’m a huge Francophile, maybe I will find something else I like next time.

After Portobello I had a peek in Magma, they always have such cute stuff in there but I have never in my life bought more than a magazine from them, the prices are really ridiculous. Alex has wanted one of the flip wallets from becko for a while now, and when he was checking it out we realised they were charging £30 for it. Now, a quick google search shows loads of places you can get one online for $15, which would equate to about £8. How does Magma get away with charging so much? Its pretty ridiculous.
It is a nice wallet though. Speaking of wallets, they had some really cute tinymeat ones in there, again awfully overpriced. When I saw on the label that they had an etsy store I made a quick note in my phone because they were sure to be cheaper than in Magma. They have some really cute designs on the site, but I love the simplicity of this one:
I always see such cute things on etsy but never get around to ordering them, maybe that will change now.
